School Holidays Clay Workshop - Thursday, 1 July
Young people can now enjoy making clay projects in our Drummoyne studio during the July school holidays. Parents can book along with their child. This one and a half hour workshop will be taught by an experienced Ceramics instructor and participants will learn how to turn clay into small vases or pots, or even make a whistle, and have fun in the process. They will learn how to make a pinch pot & coil build and be able to come up with their own ideas for projects.
Classes are for beginner clay lovers. Children need to be aged between 8 and 14 years. There’s a maximum of 6 students per session. Clay and tools supplied. Participants can have up to 2 pieces decorated, fired and clear glazed. If they want to make more, then we can do that for $10 per piece.
Students need to bring an old shirt, an apron, large plastic bags and wear closed-in shoes.
Your instructor will be Victoria De Aboitiz. Pictured are some of Victoria's musical instruments.
