Halo Vase

There are vases that hold flowers, and then there are pieces that hold a room. The Halo Vase is the latter. Its distinctive circular form is wheel-thrown from porcelain clay with hand-built elements added, creating a sculptural silhouette that is as striking empty on a shelf as it is styled with a single stem or a loose arrangement of dried florals.

Glazed in Turquoise and White both inside and out, the vase is fully watertight and built to be used as well as admired. The glaze combination has an oceanic depth that shifts subtly depending on the light, catching the room differently throughout the day. At approximately 25cm tall and 18cm in diameter, it has a quiet presence without overwhelming a space.

This is a piece for someone who collects carefully and chooses things that will still feel right in ten years. It would make an exceptional gift for a housewarming, a significant birthday, or anyone who appreciates truly unique handmade ceramics.
