We’re lucky to have some fantastic cafés nearby—so why not grab a coffee and join our relaxing Clay Hand Building pottery class?
In this cozy, two-hour workshop, you’ll discover the joy of working with clay in our welcoming ceramic studio. With only 8 participants per session, you’ll enjoy plenty of personal guidance and a calm, creative atmosphere.
Under the friendly instruction of our experienced ceramics teacher, you’ll learn to shape clay into beautiful, useful pieces - like your own unique mug, cup, or anything else you feel inspired to create! You’ll also get to decorate your work with underglazes during the class (we’ll add a clear glaze later) or choose from our studio’s dipping glazes for us to finish afterwards.
No experience? No problem! Just bring your curiosity and enthusiasm We’ll provide:

To get the most out of your session, we recommend bringing:

Comfortable clothing

A cloth apron (or you can purchase a brand new GG apron for $14)

BYO your favourite coffee, drinks or snacks
After class, you’ll select your two favourite pieces for bisque firing. We’ll then glaze and high-fire them to 1260°C, making them food-safe and suitable for the microwave, oven and dishwasher. You’ll be able to collect them in about 4 weeks. Want to make extra pieces? You can! Each additional item is just $10.
