NEW - Paint & Sip Class

If you want to learn how to hand-paint ceramics, and turn them into functional pieces, join up for this class. Bring a friend to this beginner-friendly class!

You'll be guided by an instructor and be able to create a unique hand-painted design, with our range of Kiwi Underglazes, to transform pottery into beautiful works of art. These underglazes are especially bright and work really well, even at high stoneware temperatures.

We’ll provide cheese and crackers and you BYO wine, bubbles, etc.

In this class, you’ll be able to choose two pieces of bisqued ceramics (first firing), handmade in the studio. Choose from plates, cups or tumblers. Use up to 6 underglaze colours and learn how to apply them  to decorate your pieces. Let your imagination run wild with pattern and colour. Finally, apply clear glaze to make your pieces food safe, as well as microwave, oven and dishwasher safe. They’ll be fired in our kiln to a high temperature of 1260 and be ready to pick up within a few weeks.

Choose extra Bisqued pieces to paint $25 per piece. Experiment with ceramic underglaze tissue papers too.

This is a great gift for Mum, Hen’s Party, Date Night or friends and family gatherings. 

There’s a maximum of 6 people in each class. A minimum of 4 students are required for this class to proceed.
