Immerse yourself in a 2-hour clay hand-building pottery class in our cozy ceramic studio nestled in Sydney Inner West's Drummoyne. Learn to shape clay into useful items with your own hands while revelling in the joy of the creative process, all while indulging in a glass of wine.
What you'll do
Demonstration
Your experienced ceramics instructor kicks things off by showing you the techniques you'll need for hand-building pottery, along with ways to embellish your creations with your own personality.
Relax while you sip
Settle in with a glass of wine (BYO) and our complimentary cheese and crackers while you get hands-on with clay. It's the perfect way to unwind after a busy week.
Help at hand
With a maximum of 8 participants per class, you'll get plenty of one-on-one guidance from your instructor throughout the session.
The results
Make as many pieces as you like during the class, then choose your favourite 2 to keep. Decorate them with underglazes or have them dip glazed in your choice from our studio colours.
We finish the pottery for you
Once your pieces are completely dry, we glaze and fire them twice to create functional pottery that's food, microwave, oven and dishwasher safe, ready to collect in approximately 4 weeks. Want to keep more pieces? Extra pieces can be finished for just $10 each.

Knowledge required
None at all. Just bring your curiosity and enthusiasm. This class is relaxing, fun and a great introduction to pottery for newcomers.

Important info
- Maximum 8 participants per class; minimum 4 needed for the class to run
- You must be over 18 years of age to bring alcohol to the class
- Classes can't be rescheduled without 48 hours' notice
- Bookings are transferable to another person
