Whether you're an absolute beginner or have thrown on the wheel before, we'll tailor the session to suit your group, with personalised guidance from an experienced potter at our pottery studio in Sydney's Inner West.
What you'll do
Demonstration
For absolute beginners, your instructor will show you how to throw clay on the pottery wheel. If you've thrown before, we can provide personalised training to help you further develop your skills and knowledge.
Relax and celebrate
Mark your special occasion with friends or family in a relaxed, hands-on setting, getting creative together at the wheel. If you'd like, add an extra 30 minutes before your class to enjoy nibbles and share a cake, refreshments can be arranged for an additional cost, paid separately.

As a private class, you'll get dedicated, personalised guidance throughout, tailored to your group's experience level and goals.
The results
You'll get to throw as many pieces as you like during your session. If you've thrown before, you can also choose to get training on trimming and glazing, and book multiple sessions to keep developing your skills.
We finish the pottery for you
For beginners, we'll finish your pieces over a 4 to 5 week period and let you know when they're ready to collect. Your finished, food-safe ceramics, microwave, dishwasher and oven safe, will be ready to use at home. We provide firing and glazing for up to 2 pieces per person, want to keep more? Extra pieces can be finished for $10 each.

Knowledge required
None at all for beginners, we'll show you the basics of throwing on the pottery wheel. Those with experience can opt for more advanced, personalised training.
