NEW! Ikebana-inspired Flower Vase
This is a piece that commands attention. Inspired by the Japanese art of Ikebana, this sculptural flower vase is designed for those who treat flower arranging as a creative practice, not just a finishing touch. Wide and generous in form, it invites considered, intentional arrangements that let each stem breathe and be seen.
The central vase holds water, while the included flower frog lets you anchor and position each flower with precision, just as Ikebana tradition intends. When the flowers are put away, remove the frog and the piece transitions beautifully into a statement fruit bowl or decorative centrepiece in its own right.
Hand-built from stoneware clay and glazed in a layered combination of White, Turquoise, Cornflower and Chun, each vase is made in small batches by Sydney ceramic artist Bruna Rodwell. The glaze tones shift subtly across the surface, giving the piece a quiet depth that improves with time and placement.
Please note: as each piece is handmade, slight variations in glaze, texture and form are a natural part of the process and are what make your vase truly one of a kind.
