Corporate Team Building with Clay
Clay is a great tactile craft. It’s a mindful activity that helps you slow down in this hectic world. A Clay Handbuilding Class could be the perfect way to for your team to unwind and have the opportunity to focus on creativity.
We can cater for up to 8 people in our Drummoyne studio or can arrange clay events at other venues for larger groups. We can even come to your workplace and bring everything needed for the class.
No experience is required to participate. We'll walk everyone through how to use clay and pottery tools to make a cup or a bowl, which will be food-safe, microwave-safe, oven-safe and dishwasher-safe - something you'll use.
Each participant will receive:
- 2-hour class
- 2 kgs of Stoneware Clay
- use of pottery tools
- Firing and glazing of 2 pieces back at Glaze Galleria in Drummoyne (additional pieces can be finished for $10 ea)
- Choice of 4 different glaze colours
Our class will show you all the techniques you need to make a variety of pottery including, cups, vases, trinket dishes and more. After the class, we’ll bring the pieces back to our studio for drying, bisque firing, glazing and their final glaze firing. Pottery will be ready about 3 or 4 weeks after the class.
