Ceramics Painting Class

Learn how to hand-paint pottery with underglazes and turn them into functional ceramic pieces in this class. Bring a friend to this beginner-friendly and great-value class!

You'll be guided by an instructor to create unique hand-painted designs to transform pottery into beautiful works of art. Use our Kiwi Underglazes which are especially bright and work really well, even at high stoneware temperatures.

We’ll provide cheese and crackers and you BYO wine, bubbles, etc.

In this class, you’ll be able to choose 2 pieces of handmade, bisqued ceramics (fired once). Choose from mugs, cups, bowls and a plate (max 1). Choose from a huge range of underglaze colours and learn how to apply them to decorate your pieces. Experiment with ceramic underglaze tissue papers too. 

Let your imagination run wild with pattern and colour.

We’ll then clear glaze your pieces so they’re food safe, as well as dishwasher, microwave and oven safe. They’ll be fired in our kiln to a high temperature and be ready to pick up within a few weeks.

Choose extra mugs & cups to paint at $25 each. Plates are $35 each.
