Underglaze Palette

If you want to add some colour to your ceramic creations, you can now purchase an Underglaze Palette Kit.

To decorate your ceramics with colour, you can’t just use any paint. Underglazes are a type of mineral paint, which can withstand the high temperatures we use when firing ceramics.

The Glaze Galleria Underglaze Palette contains six colours; dried out so they can be shipped. You can rehydrate the colours and illustrate your pieces once they’re dry. The finished items will then be fired and a clear glaze applied before the second firing. The palette should be enough to decorate 2-3 pieces, depending on your design.

The pictures included test tiles to show you what the final colours will look like once they have been fired. The test tiles have been partially clear glazed to show the difference.

Please note if one colour isn't available, it will be replaced with another.
