Try Both Pottery Class Sampler Pack
Can't decide between the wheel and hand building? With our Pottery Sampler, you don't have to
This is the perfect introduction to pottery in Sydney's Inner West, two completely different techniques, two sessions, one great experience. Start by throwing on the wheel (yes, that scene from Ghost), then come back to hand build something entirely your own way. Most people discover they love one more than the other, some love both. Either way, you'll leave knowing exactly what kind of potter you are.
What our customers say
"I did the Clay and Sip class with a friend and we had the best time. The instructor was fabulous and explained the process clearly, going around the class to ensure everyone was making progress. We had lots of laughs along the way and ended up with cute items for the home. Highly recommended for a fun and very tactile night out!"
What you'll do
Demonstration
Across both sessions, your experienced ceramics instructor will guide you through the techniques you need, first for wheel throwing, then for hand building, so you can get hands-on with each.
Relax while you sip
Settle in with a glass of wine (BYO) and complimentary cheese and crackers across both sessions while you create. It's the perfect way to unwind and enjoy a relaxed, tactile experience.
Help at hand
With a maximum of 8 participants per class, you'll get plenty of one-on-one guidance from your instructor throughout both sessions.
The results
Try your hand at the pottery wheel in one session, then hand building in the other, two completely different techniques to help you discover what kind of potter you are.
